DESIGN AS A CATALYST FOR CHANGE
Youth Design was transformative, creating pivotal pathways for the next generation of diverse creative talent while diversifying the creative workforce of the future. Over 15 years,Youth Design led as an innovative public/private “PLATFORM FOR CHANGE,” dedicated to serving urban high-school creative talent in our communities – mentoring, fostering social impact, and promoting equity and diversity in the creative economy.

Youth Design’s signature approach became a leading methodology in the U.S,. combining professional mentoring, and a robust basic art and design curriculum, with paid summer design internships at leading design companies and institutions. Our immersive and collaborative learning experience for Youth Designers – a creative mix of school-year master class workshops, technical design training and cultural learning over the course of a two-year period leading up to college.
